Most of the mold found inside of your house comes from outdoors. These lightweight spores float along with air currents, and easily penetrate all areas if your home. If mold spores land on a suitable surface, they will begin to colonize and grow on walls, floors, insulation, ceilings, basements and attics.

It is important to keep in mind that there are hundreds of thousands of different strains of mold. And scientists discover new strains of mold everyday.  We know that specific types of mold can help heal illnesses, like penicillium mold. While other strains produce much more harmful mycotoxins. Ergot mold is responsible for poisoning the food in Europe for over 500 years. During this time the population of Europe slowly decreased. And we now know today that ergotism is the reason why so many people were dying.

The most toxic form of mold known to man is the T-2 mycotoxin. The soviet union supplied communist states in Vietnam with this toxin to use against US troops. These were known as “the yellow rain attacks”. During these biological attacks, more than 10,000 US troops died. Our history is plagued with stories of mass genocide caused by various different types of mold mycotoxins.
